Not only is this such a beautiful retelling of the classic Snow White fairy tale, but it also is sooooooo imaginative. Vampires? A dead princess? Omg. I’m sold.

And the artwork in the graphic novel version is stunning… just take a look at this:

Okay, but here’s what’s REALLY going on.

Gaiman would have us believe this story is about vampirism, incest, necrophilia… but i think the dark queen is just affected by a formative experience (sexual abuse) and this has distorted her reality completely. She is having delusions.

I am a semi-expert in delusions, both my brother and dad suffer with schizophrenia, which you can read about in my other posts here

Our dear princess Snow is NOT a vampire, and she is not draining life out of the townspeople. No idea what I’m talking…
